Qualifications
- To be graduated either the Aeronautical Engineer Degree or other equivalency or Technical Service in Aviation would be receiving special consideration
- Excellent reading and understanding of associated maintenance manuals and maintenance instructions provided by the manufacturer
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Access/Excel/Word) is required
- The ability to speak and comprehend English is required
Responsibilities
- Follow up and ensure that aircraft maintenance/inspection activities are carried out according to specified requirements
- Co-ordinate with authority to ensure that the highest airworthiness standard is maintained
- Co-ordinate with aircraft, engine, and component manufacturers to ensure that technical support is currently received
- Review AD and SB or relevant publications and issue incorporation of modification /inspection, as required
- Advise troubleshooting of aircraft system and equipment to Maintenance Operations or to licensed aircraft maintenance engineer, as necessary
- Advise repetitive defect rectification action and ensure that the rectification is effective
- Records all repetitive defect rectification action and ensures that the rectification is effective
- Perform Reliability Control in accordance with the current Reliability Control Program and compliance with the rules laid down in Reliability Control Program (special consideration)
- Responsible to manage the technical library and technical records function
- Follow up Engine Health Monitoring (special consideration)
