Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related fields
  • For junior positions 2-3 years, for senior/supervisor positions 5-10 years experience in logistics/ air freight forwarding or courier business
  • Able to follow, manage, and trouble-shoot intermodal urgent shipments (pick-up, export clearance, air transport, import clearance, delivery)
  • Able to work out transport solutions for individual shipping requests
  • Willingness to work with forwarding and aviation software, phone, and e-mail in a global 24/7 environment
  • Willing to work in three shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Effective communication skills and a good track for dealing with people at all levels and in all parts of the world
  • Experience in providing customer support and solution with a positive service mind
  • Knowledge in export and import documentation and/or urgent airfreight is a plus

Job Description

  • Monitor and actively steer Shipments
    – Execute the operations of assigned shipments, including monitoring, tracking, control and reporting in the relevant IT systems
    – Trouble-shoot in case of irregularities, including contacting various airline stations and transport, clearing, and handling partners worldwide.
    – Actively trace missing cargo
    – Obtain /transmit accurate shipping documents from/to customers and all concerned parties
    – Monitor, track and follow up to make sure all shipments complete as planned.
  • Provide Customer Service and ensure associated Operations
    – Provide customer service, work out transport solutions, and quote to the customer
    – Ensure order fulfillment, establishing the transport plan, booking and monitoring the shipments
    – Provide service recovery and taking measures to recover the shipment
    – Close the shipping file and hand over to accounting
