- Tracking and analyzing condition (technical) and quality assurance of the active engines of LHT customers’ fleets
- Monitoring engine operation (technical and economic) and initiating necessary control and corrective actions
- Creating action orders
- Preparing ECM reports for customers; preparing management reports and information for maintenance operations on current issues
- Serving as a single point of contact and providing technical advice to maintenance engineers, product engineering, and customers on engine issues related to license plates; working with maintenance engineers, product engineering, and system engineering to develop key technical solutions
- Performing cold fan trim balance calculations according to appropriate specifications; processing customer inquiry, improving suggestions, flight reports and on-the-job verification
- Further developing analysis tools (existing) and supporting introduction of new tools
Support Function Responsibilities
- Support in evaluation of structure defects, Service Bulletins (SB) and Airworthiness Directives (AD) for repair and/or accomplishment based on analysis of airline maintenance operations and financial cost-benefit analyses, and to maintain SB and AD databases.
- Support reviews and approvals of technical manual and maintenance program changes based on analysis of airline maintenance operations and reliability data
- Support review of aircraft documentation and records (e.g. for aircraft transition purposes)
- Understand local authority aviation safety regulation including FAA and EASA and able to apply them to the related responsible tasks.
- Support actively in customer’s technical problem solving in collaboration with LHT Segments
- Manage and process technical data within LHT’s or customer’s IT systems
- Support in monitoring relevant economical and operational parameters (Key Performance Indicators, KPIs) for customers and LHT
- Connect LHT technical services to the customer beyond cross- cultural barriers
- Assist in onboarding, coaching and training team members
- Manage tasks reasonably assigned by Team Leader and/or Manager
- University Degree (Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or any equivalent)
- Good knowledge of aviation industry, airworthiness directives and legislation (EASA & FAA).
- Requirement – Minimum 5 years experience in aircraft maintenance or aircraft engineering with extensive knowledge of the aircraft, engines, systems and aircraft components to be worked.
- Minimum 3 year power plant direct experience is a plus.
- Very good knowledge of maintenance processes and systematics
- Very good communication skill in English, written and spoken (TOEIC >850 or equivalent)
- Good analytical and strategic-conceptual skills
- Good PC user know-how
- Posses good negotiation skill, assertiveness and a high level of persuasiveness.
- Team player who likes working with teams from multiple nationalities, relevant international experience is an advantage.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Willing to work on shift basis inclusive of weekends and public holidays.
- Willing to undergo job-related training.
- Willing to travel frequently, if required.
