Air Freight Logistics Specialist
In this position you will be part of the global time: matters logistics setup of the Lufthansa (Cargo) Group (http://www.time-matters.com). time: matters is the expert for global Special Speed Logistics as well as time-critical international spare parts logistics. We transport highly urgent spare parts, medical samples or important documents quickly and reliably from A to B – via air, rail, or road. In addition to speed and reliability, we are committed to customizing and flexible service. Therefore, we are available 365 days a year, around the clock, to develop tailor-made, customized logistics solutions, ranging from ad-hoc cases to day-to-day business. We are looking for an experienced and ambitious air freight specialist to help us grow our sales and network in Thailand and South East Asia.
Goals
Create and maintain a high-level service network in South East Asia. You build a partnership with airlines, road couriers, custom brokers etc in order to create fast and reliable transport solutions for demanding customers. You ensure smooth shipment flow. And you report back to time: matters headquarters and your Customers in a proactive and professional manner.
Tasks
• Select optimal suppliers for the network in Thailand and South-East Asia
• Optimize the operation within the supplier network
• Supervise the operational quality
• Monitor cost developments and ensure profitable operation
• Audit the suppliers at their stations in regards to safety and quality
• Identify operational customer requirements in cooperation with the Key Account Management
• Calculate and sell customized solutions as well as complex regular businesses
• Closely cooperate with the worldwide time: matters operational counterparts in order to build individualized transport solutions
• Ensure the successful implementation of sold customized solutions in the daily operation
Qualifications
1. Male or Female
2. Thai Nationality
3. Bachelor Degree
4. Experience within transport logistics, air freight forwarding, and process and product management
5. Strong communication skill in English (TOEIC 650)
6. Good perception, networking skills, and adaptability
7. Intercultural competence
8. Good PC user know-how
