Roles and Responsibilities
Development of NokScoot’s eCommerce platforms
• Working with the AM, eCommerce Development in developing the airline’s e-commerce platforms such as the website and mobile applications
• Work closely with vendors, managing the project work according to agreed timelinesOptimization of eCommerce platforms to improve commercial results
• Closely track the performance of the eCommerce platforms and customer feedbacks
• Conduct A/B testing to establish the effectiveness of new initiativesBroaden set of products and payment methods on eCommerce platforms
• Coordinate with the Ancillary team to implement negotiated partnerships with third parties such as hotels, car rental, and insurance companies
• Facilitate the development and implementation of new payment options
• Coordinate in the development of fraud detection and protection tools
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or any equivalent degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of IT, preferably in the Airline Industry / Airline IT Solutions company / Website and App development
• Fluency in English, strong communication and negotiation skills
• Prior experience in Navitaire’s New Skies Reservation System is advantageous
• Prior experience in Payments technology is advantageous but not required
• Some experience in programming language is advantageous
• Strong technical background with a knowledge of traditional/non-traditional software delivery methodologies and/or Quality Assurance methodologies is advantageous but not required
• Can work well under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
