Responsibilities

The Technical Sales Support function is to support Safran Cabin Cargo sales related to AP customers and provide assembly and repair procedure/process training of Safran Cabin Cargo products to Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) service stations of customers in the Asia Pacific

Sales Duties

Provide Technical Support for all Safran Cabin Cargo sales-related activities to customers in the AP region e.g. technical specification review/check, Technical Data Sheets (TDS), and DIRs.
Join and support AP Sales Managers on customer visits, if required,
Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and MRO service stations in the AP region
Support Safran Cabin Cargo’s customers’ visit to Safran Cabin Bangkok factories
Support the Safran Cabin SCM team by visiting the Customs Department weekly to ensure a correct understanding of Air Cargo products, leading to correct VAT and Export Charges
Preparation of technical-related reports and presentations to AP Sales Managers and Business Unit Management as required

Technical Support

Qualified to be a certified Assembly trainer as per procedures set forth by Safran Cabin Cargo Quality Assurance
Provide assembly and repair procedure/process training of Safran Cabin Bangkok products to MRO service stations of customers in the Asia Pacific, in order for them to be compliant with EASA regulations. (visits to MRO service stations will be done mostly independently).
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending conferences and educational opportunities; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. General
Follow the company procedures, work instructions, and regulations and comply with environmental, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in a related field Good instructional skills with Trainer experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft office, Internet
Excellent in English

Qualifications of trainer

Have at least several years (min 5 years) of experience with ULD containers
Have a technical background and be able to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals properly
Be able to perform the training in English
Have experience with container repair company (previous visits)
Be able to properly represent Safran
Have assembled the container by himself
Have an understanding of the following topic set by the quality manager
Subcontracting of the assembly of Air Cargo Container kits and the release with an EASA Form 1 (PM22)
Subcontracting of the Assembly of Air Cargo Container kits (BKK-OP-PUR-003)
CMM and IPL,
