The Aviation Safety & Security Coordinator is an individual responsible for administrations, coordinations and operations of the Safety Management System (SMS) and Security Management System (SeMS) deployed by Siam Land Private Jet Terminal (SLPJT) at Phuket. He/She acts as a coordinator for safety and security issues, including the safety and security reports and information at Phuket PJT. He/She assists the Aviation Safety & Security Manager to coordinate methodological guidances and advices on safety and security related operational issues to FBO Manager and SLPJT Line Operations. The Aviation Safety & Security Coordinator also assists the Aviation Safety & Security Manager in enhancing the safety and security management processes and procedures at Siam Land Private Jet Terminal, Phuket Station
Responsibilities
- Facilitating and implementing the operation of the Safety Management System (SMS) and Security Management System (SeMS) as per the implementation plan
- Perform/facilitate safety information, hazard identification, and safety risk analysis in a timely manner
- Coordinate with the risk owner and all stakeholders to conduct the risk assessments when applicable
- Assisting the Aviation Safety & Security Manager to promote an effective threat or incident response capability. Being involved with actual or practice emergency
- Assisting the Aviation Safety & Security Manager in the development and updating of the Emergency Response Plan and Security Contingency Plan
- Facilitate the promotion of safety-related information, including organizational goals and objectives to all personnel involved in Phuket PJT operations through established communication processes
- Being an assistant coordinator as part of an airport security internal quality control process, and being a delegated person of Aviation Safety & Security
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field. A degree in the aviation field, engineering field or safety field is an advantage
- 3-years experience in the aviation business, with at least 1-year experience in aviation safety management or aviation security management, or aviation quality
- 3 – 5 years of experience in any business with at least 2 years of experience in aviation safety management or aviation security management or aviation quality management.
- Technical background to understand the systems that support operations or the product/service provided
- Operational experience related to the product or service provided by Siam Land Flying Co., Ltd.
- Knowledge of international, regional, and national aviation safety and security regulations
- An understanding of human factors and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Good command of English
