Job Description
- Oversight and control of the carriage of dangerous goods.
- Ensuring all necessary permissions, approvals and exemptions are held.
- Generation (or acceptance) of relevant procedures.
- Responding to queries regarding the carriage of dangerous goods.
- Assisting the Director of Ground Operations to update and disseminate changes in dangerous goods handling related regulatory requirements to concerned parties.
- Liaise with CAAT and relevant authorities with regard to dangerous goods incidents, accidents, and occurrences, including preparing and establishing reports to the authorities.
- Establish dangerous goods procedures and provide feedback to management on dangerous goods-related policies.
- Ensure TVJ operations are in conformity with dangerous goods policies and procedures approved by CAAT.
- When required, participate in dangerous goods audits and inspections as a subject matter expert or auditor.
- Actively participate in the region’s dangerous goods community and conference.
Qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience relevant to handling dangerous goods.
- Successfully completed and maintain recently in Dangerous Goods Training Program CAT 6.
- Knowledge of safety management system and quality system
