The Guest Services Assistant shall maintain the highest level of safety, security and service standards for ground operations.
Flight Operations is a critical department within the aviation industry responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of aircraft. Professionals in this field play a vital role in coordinating various aspects of flight planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Flight Planning: Creating detailed flight plans, including route selection, fuel calculations, and weather analysis to ensure optimal flight paths and safety.
- Scheduling: Developing and managing flight schedules, coordinating with air traffic control, and making adjustments as needed due to weather conditions, mechanical issues, or other factors.
- Crew Coordination:Assigning flight crews to specific flights, ensuring compliance with duty time regulations, and overseeing their training and certification.
- Dispatch: Overseeing the pre-flight preparation and departure of aircraft, ensuring that all necessary documentation and clearances are in place.
- Monitoring: Tracking aircraft in flight, coordinating with pilots and air traffic control to address any issues or deviations from the flight plan.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all aviation regulations, including safety standards, operational procedures, and environmental requirements.
- Data Analysis: Collecting and analysing flight data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and enhance safety measures.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, procedures, and best practices
