Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all hardware and software configuration management conformed to the required specifications along with the Electronic Flight Bag Manual, and providing, in particular, that no unauthorized software is installed.
- Create and control an account on the FlySmart iPad Gateway server that the pilot uses for updating EFB.
- Ensuring that the Electronic Flight Bag Manual is updated and maintained following applicable CAAT regulations and mandatory/company standards.
- Check potential security issues associated with the applications installed.
- Ensure that only a valid version of the application software and current data packages are installed on the EFB system, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data package used by the applications installed.
- Control and tracking of company EFB devices including revision status to ensure all devices are updated.
- Planned, managed,d and controlled the stock of backup EFB devices for daily and future operations and replacement of devices as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Aviation related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience (Fresh graduates are welcome).
- Knowledge and experience of airline and aircraft operations, including the CAAT regulations.
- Knowledge of applicable EFB requirements and regulations.
- Experience with aircraft performance application Flysmart+, SPS on iPad.
- Able to drive and have a valid driver’s license.
