LEGAL OFFICER

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and advising contracts/agreements in Thai and English.
  • Involving in drafting and controlling internal rules and regulations in accordance with laws;
  • Solving legal issues related to lawsuits, disputes, etc.;
  • Coordinating with other departments in dealing with legal issues;
  • Guiding and supervising related departments to operate in accordance with laws;
  • Researching laws, legal and commercial practices of countries that have business relationships with the company;
  • Reviewing and systematizing legal documents related to the company’s operation;
  • Updating and giving guidelines for the application of regulations for the Board of Management and departments;
  • Involving in drafting, reviewing, and executing the documents regarding to leasing/sub-leasing the aircraft.
  • Undertake administrative tasks such as filing, typing letters and documents, email correspondence, etc.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Law, Holding Lawyer License is an advantage; at least 1 year of legal experience;
  • Experience working at foreign companies is an advantage;
  • Exemption from Military Service
  • Having a profound knowledge of Corporate Law, Investment Law, Commercial Law, Aviation Law;
  • High proficiency in Thai & English, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
  • Having knowledge of the laws of Thailand and other countries where the Company has a branch/office/operated is an advantage;
  • Good communication, presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills

CORPORATE AFFAIRS EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities

  • To assist in managing and handling the full spectrum of Corporate Affairs related matters as well as Admin duties which include employee relations, industrial relations, documentation management, and preparation of company letters and reports.
  • To assist Project Manager in formulating and implementing the department’s SOP, policies, and procedures.
  • Initiate and execute dynamic ideas to enhance employee communications.
  • Providing general administrative services to a high level of operational efficiency.
  • To ensure compliance with the provisions of Thai Vietjet Air and rules made thereunder and other statutes and bye-laws of the company.
  • To ensure that the business of the company is conducted in accordance with its objects as contained in its memorandum of association.
  • To ensure that affairs of the company are managed in accordance with its objects contained in the articles of association and the provisions of the Act.
  • To prepare the agenda in consultation with the Chairwoman and the other documents for all the meetings of the board of Management.
  • To arrange with and to call and hold meetings of the board of management and to prepare a correct record of proceedings including taking minutes of meetings. Attend the board meetings in order to ensure that all the requirements are fulfilled, and provide such information as are necessary to board members.
  • To assist Corporate Affair Manager prepare agreements leases, legal forms, and other official documents on the company’s behalf when authorized by the executive.
  • Filling of various documents/returns as required under the provisions of the Law.
  • To issue notice and agenda of board meetings whenever assigned.
  • To carry on correspondence with the directors of the company on various matters.
  • To keep a record of attendees of all meetings.
  • Register of contracts, arrangements, and appointments in which board members are interested.
  • Provide administrative support to the Corporate Affairs Manager.
  • Assist to coordinate key meetings and events held by CEO’s office.
  • Provide administrative support to BOD, BOM, and senior managers as required.
  • Coordinate and deal with suppliers/vendors as well as an authority on behalf of the Corporate Affairs Manager whenever assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Management, Arts Program in English or other related field.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in managing the full spectrum of Corporate Affairs and Admin functions, preferably in the airline industry or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an Executive/ Assistant Manager Capacity is an advantage
  • Exemption from Military Service for Male
  • The ability to translate the company’s official document from Thai to English and vice versa is a MUST
  • Competent in both written and oral English with strong consultative and negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • To ensure that the business of the company is conducted in accordance with its objects as contained in its memorandum of association.
  • Well-versed with Thailand regulations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive and discrete manner.
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated with high integrity and ability to work independently with minimal supervision and multitasking.
