Requirement
- The Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and hold a valid AMEL issued by CAAT.
- Hold the LAE type rating 737-800 (If License current is preferable)
Responsibilities
- Establish maintenance procedures for maintenance activities under Air Inter transport responsibility, as required for safety and standardization.
- Ensure that all procedures used in the accomplishment of the responsible maintenance relating to the aircraft are conformed to established policies, procedures, and airworthiness standards.
- Plan scheduling of scheduled inspection and/or other maintenance requests includes the delivery as well.
- Develop and maintain necessary forms, files, and records pertaining to the operation of the maintenance division.
- Issue work orders for his technician when the maintenance task under AIT Aviation’s responsibility is required.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Chief Pilot or his designee to ensure their requirement and expectation are clearly understood.
- Establish measures of effectiveness and efficiency for the division.
- Suggest to the Technical Manager for part requisition for fleet maintenance.
- Monitor, prepare, and submit application forms for issue and renewal of aircraft official documents to the CAAT, and Post and Telegraph Office.
- Assuring the proper handling of all parts while in the maintenance process when work is completed
- Ensure that aircraft maintenance tools, equipment, components, and material that are assigned to Maintenance Department are stored properly with the appropriate identification tag
- Take responsibility for the maintenance reliability program.
- Perform Maintenance Release and/or Airworthiness release of Aircraft.
