As a Project Manager specializing in implementing/managing HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) or Mission critical Infrastructure for Middle to Large enterprise. Experience in implementation and migration. Project Manager role will be to oversee and manage the entire process of transitioning the enterprise systems from the current infrastructure to a new HCI environment. As well as implementation of Backup as a Service, Disaster recovery as a Service and all Network connectivity to all Nok Air Data Center and office locations. You will be responsible for leading a team of professionals within Nok Air and related supplier including Zenith (HCI, VMWare, Core Network Switch and Server Migration) and True Corporation (Connectivity, Data Center, Backup as a Service, Disaster recovery as a Services). As well as coordinating tasks, ensuring successful project execution, and delivering the desired outcomes.

Project Planning and Execution

Develop a comprehensive project plan, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resources required.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Create and manage project schedules, track progress, identify and mitigating risks, and resolving issues.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement the HCI infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Monitor project budget and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective utilization

Team Leadership and Collaboration

Lead a cross-functional team of IT professionals, including infrastructure engineers, network specialists, system administrators and Application Support.
Assign tasks, provide guidance, and motivate team members to achieve project milestones.
Foster collaboration and effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
Conduct regular project meetings, status updates, and presentations to report progress and address concerns.

HCI Implementation and Migration

Define and document requirements for the HCI infrastructure, considering the specific needs of the enterprise systems.
Coordinate with vendors to procure necessary hardware, software, and licenses for the HCI environment.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of the HCI infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
Develop and execute a migration strategy, including data transfer, application reconfiguration, and system integration.
Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to verify the stability and performance of the migrated systems.

Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement

Develop and implement a change management plan to minimize disruption and ensure user acceptance of the new HCI environment.
Communicate project updates, benefits, and risks to stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and end-users.
Collaborate with user groups to gather feedback, address concerns, and facilitate training and support for the new systems.
Monitor post-implementation performance and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth operations.

Deliverables

Comprehensive project plan, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
Successfully implemented HCI infrastructure that meets the defined requirements and supports enterprise systems.
Migrated enterprise systems to the new HCI environment with minimal disruption and data integrity maintained.
Regular progress reports, including status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
Effective collaboration and communication among stakeholders, team members, and vendors.
Change management plan and user acceptance of the new HCI environment.
Ongoing support and monitoring to ensure stable operations and post-implementation success.

Qualification

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure.
Hands-on experience in managing critical infrastructure for mid-large enterprises with over 100 servers.
Proficient in migrating and managing cloud infrastructure and hyper-converged infrastructure, including experience with physical server migrations.
Strong expertise in cybersecurity for mid-large enterprises with over 2,000 users.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple suppliers and corporate-wide user groups.
Holding a professional certification (Certified Engineer or Certified Professional) in one of the following products is advantageous: VMWare, Microsoft, Network/Security (any brand).
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient in the English language.

Working Conditions

4 Months contract Start July 2023-October 2023
0830-1730 on normal working days follow Nok Air working calendar.
The project may require working during non-Working hours, Weekend or Public holiday. The Project manager should adapt the working schedule according to the required task in the project without additional cost.
