Responsibilities

1. Microsoft 365 System Maintenance, Support, and Innovation:

  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Regularly research and stay updated on the latest M365 updates, features, and best practices.
  • Implement new M365 features, ensuring optimal utilization and integration within the company’s IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to strategize and roll out M365 system enhancements and optimizations.

2. Helpdesk Service and Continuous Improvement:

  • Respond to Level 2 IT support requests promptly and professionally.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Proactively identify recurring technical issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams or vendors, ensuring user needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Document all interactions, solutions, and steps in the helpdesk ticketing system.

3. Research and Implementation:

  • Actively research new technologies, tools, and practices to enhance the company’s IT capabilities.
  • Lead or participate in IT projects to implement new solutions, ensuring successful integration and minimal disruption.
  • Test and evaluate new solutions before full-scale implementation.

4. User Assistance, Training, and Feedback

  • Conduct IT orientations and training sessions for employees to promote best practices and efficient use of tools.
  • Gather feedback from users to continuously refine and improve IT services and tools.
  • Foster a positive IT experience through patient and empathetic user interactions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, M365 system administration, and technology research.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite, IT support practices, and familiar with helpdesk ticketing systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and a keen interest in technological advancements.
  • Certifications: Microsoft 365 certification is an advantage.
