Ensures that the aircraft is maintained per the requirements of approved data and other regulatory requirements in the most efficient and economical manner
Ensures that the aircraft is dispatched in a timely manner and with the highest technical efficiency and safety standards.
Ensure all aircraft documents and reports are properly recorded, accurate, and promptly submitted.
Provide feedback and advice to the Lead License Aircraft Engineer regarding any deficiencies and issues relating to the functioning of the Division and aircraft systems.
Proposes tools, modifications, or different work procedures to improve efficiency.
Monitors all contracted ground handling and maintenance activities.
Be a Technical Representative for any Aircraft Maintenance activities which are assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Assists the Quality Assurance Division during quality audits.
Assists Certificate of Maintenance Review (CMR) Signatory Staff for aircraft inspection
Supports related aircraft maintenance and inspection for aircraft delivery/ redelivery to ensure induction aircraft meet airworthiness requirements and/ or operational requirements.
Ensures that all tasks or defects are properly recorded and comply with airworthiness requirements and a Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) and an –Airworthiness Release are issued accordingly.

Ensures that Key Performance Indicators are achieved

Hold a valid CAAT Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License
A relevant degree or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional appropriate education acceptable to the CAAT
At least 4-year experience in aircraft maintenance or continuing airworthiness
Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance of particular types of aircraft
Good skills in aircraft defect monitoring, troubleshooting
Good decision-making and communication skills
Familiar with aircraft system
