Responsibilities

General

  • Assist in developing and implementing sales and distribution strategies for Really Cool Airlines, including scheduled and charter services, in line with the company’s goals and objectives
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as route and network planning, revenue management, and marketing, to support the execution of sales and distribution strategies
  • Monitor market trends, competition, and customer behavior to inform sales and distribution decisions
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, data-driven decision-making, and innovation within the sales and distribution team

Sales

  • Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with key sales partners, including direct sales, online travel agencies (OTAs), travel agencies, corporate and government travel partners, and charter service clients
  • Support the implementation of sales strategies across distribution channels and partnerships to maximize revenue and market share for both scheduled and charter services
  • Monitor and analyze key sales metrics, such as market share, revenue per booking, and conversion rates, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Help develop and implement sales policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across the airline’s operations, including charter services

Distribution

  • Assist in developing and implementing distribution strategies that balance direct and indirect distribution channels, maximize revenue, and meet customer preferences for both scheduled and charter services
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support the development and implementation of marketing and promotional activities for sales and distribution efforts
  • Monitor and analyze key distribution metrics, such as channel performance and customer acquisition costs, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Help develop and implement distribution policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across the airline’s operations, including charter services

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and distribution roles, preferably in the airline industry
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to contribute to a high-performing team
  • Demonstrated ability to support the development and implementation of successful sales and distribution strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions
  • Familiarity with sales and distribution systems and tools
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
