Responsibilities
- The General Manager (GM), Accountable Manager works closely with the Head of Flight Operation, Head of Flight Training, Head of Quality, Head of Safety, Instructor, Flight Instructor, Head of Engineer, Accounting Department, Administrative Department to develop and implement the Company Policies Procedures.
- The GM has overall responsibility for the ACA budget, and expenses.
- Directly responsible for the overall safe, secure and professional operation of ACA activities.
- The GM is responsible in regard to State, Local law and all applicable regulations.
- The GM must ensure that all activities are conducted safely and that all operations are financially viable.
- The GM is responsible for providing the Company with the necessary resources and facilities to enable Nominated Persons and all employees to perform the tasks for which they are responsible.
- Has the final responsibility for ACA’s formal written Operations Manual Compliance Policy Statement defining the intent of the quality system, Safety Management System, Compliance Monitoring System and ACA’s commitment to them.
- Ensures that all activities of ACA are aimed to achieve the highest standards of safety, reliability and compliance
- Overall responsibility for recruitment and hiring and ensures cooperation and coordination within and between all department of ACA
- The GM has to delegate responsibilities, build teams, and oversee daily operations
- Establish company vision, mission, values, culture and provide adequate resources to support the strategic planning
- Set departments’ high-level goals, objectives and plans and work with them on attaining such goals by closely monitoring their operations
- Analyze managerial report and financial statements (Profit & Loss) for top managements
- Collaborate with internal & external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
- Oversee overall people processes within the scope of responsibility to ensure compliance with Human Resource policies
- Delegate some responsibilities to appropriate executives in order to ensure smooth running of the company.
- Conduct annual performance appraisal for all executives and recommend salary adjustments, rewards and promotions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in aviation management, business administration, or related field
- Several years of experiences in a management or leadership role within the aviation industry
- Fluent with the English language
- Extensive demonstrable record of leadership in senior management roles within the Aviation industry
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to motivate and encourage staff, to deal effectively with internal and external contacts ranging from executive to administrative levels, and to produce effective summaries and reports as required
- Strong project management skills and ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple projects and initiatives.
- General computer literacy
- Strong judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong understanding with CAAT Regulation, Aviation requirement, Operation Regulation, Airline business, safety protocols, and industry trends.
- Experience in an operational or functional role, such as flight operations, maintenance, or customer service
- Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to aviation operations, safety, and compliance.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management, including forecasting and cost management. Strong business acumen and ability to develop and implement strategies for financial growth.
- Experience in managing and leading teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies, customers, and partners.
- Experience in implementing new technologies and processes to improve operational efficiency and safety
