Job Description
- Monthly (or more frequent) review and update of the network plans for the upcoming months, making adjustments as required to optimize the recovery of the network
- Developing the budget operating network plan for the upcoming financial year, including fleet requirements.
- Developing the medium and long-term network and fleet plans, based on an Optimistic, Baseline, and Pessimistic scenario. Defining and maintaining key milestone targets for recovery/growth.
- Awareness of changing market dynamics from both demand and supply points of view, including traffic patterns, competitive landscape, route capacity, tourism trends, and during the pandemic recovery and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Present findings and recommendations to Head of department or management level regarding new route forecasts, strategic capacity plans, and network design changes to support operations efficiency and reliability
- Manage all aspects of capacity planning, new route forecasting, network and operational design analysis and optimization and development/updates of future capacity plans for business planning purposes
- Close coordination with concerned internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on the forward plans.
- Develop and maintain productive cross-functional relationships with Scheduling, Operations, Finance, Marketing and others
- Develop network and operational analysis function, driving key insights into production in the Frontier network
- Maintain reporting and keen awareness of key competitive changes using wide ranging industry data sources and reports
- Stay abreast of airline industry news and trends
- Responsible for day-to-day planning and analysis of core network planning functions
- Cross functioning with Scheduling, Operations, Marketing and Finance
Qualifications
- Possess a minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Business Administration, Science & Engineering)
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
- Good commercial acumen
- PC literate with strong skills in MS Excel
- A mature team player who is able to work well with other departments and stakeholders
- Strong presentation and verbal skills with the ability to deliver arguments clearly and confidently
- Able to work independently within a fast-paced, target driven environment
- Pro-active attitude
- Work Experience in network planning related work will be an asset
- Experience in travel industry preferred, though not pre-requisite
