- Perform the qualifying checks and examinations as appropriate to the type of assignments that are stipulated in the FOD (60OR-16).
- Possess a high level of knowledge and skills in invigilation of examinations, cabin operations, safety investigations, training & standards, training analysis, as well as audit & inspections/surveillance.
- Review and evaluate current SEP procedures and submit recommendations for improvement affecting Cabin Safety.
- Review and update Safety & Emergency Procedures Manual (SEPM), Safety Leaflet, and Cabin Crew Training Manual (CCTM) accordingly.
- Participates in the formulation of Cabin Crew training program (s) and modify if evaluation identifies the need for change; Circulate approved SEPM/CCTM.
- Circulars and Memo to all crewmembers.
- Invigilate all crewmember SEP-related examinations.
- Conduct practical drill assessments, and training when required
- Endorse and verify all crew member
- Attestation Certificate after successful completion of the required regulatory training.
- Complete the necessary SEP-related examination and practical drill assessment course results.
- Follow up corrective action on the Cabin Crew Competency Check and Enroute Cabin Check if applicable.
- Attend to reports received from Corporate Safety Department or other reporting methods, assist in the investigation, and take corrective actions in a timely manner with the aim of preventing and/or avoiding recurrence.
- Participate in carrying out HIRA for cabin-related incidents/accidents, reports, and MOC; Compile, analyze, and generate Training & Standard reports on Cabin Crew Competency Check and Enroute Cabin Check.
- Formulate all SEP-related examination questionnaires.
- Assist in the development of future SEP policies and procedures and submit recommendations for improvement affecting cabin safety.
- Participate in organizing the necessary operational audits for the department as well as the company, as and when required, to ensure safety standards are being maintained and continuously exercised.
- Assist audits on third-party services to ensure cohesiveness.
- Keep the department’s files and records updated as required by CAAM and AirAsia.
- Perform such other reasonable duties as directed by ACCM of Training & Standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study
- At least 2 years of experience in operating and working as a Senior Cabin Crew
- Excellent performance record and Good attendance records
- No safety failure (last two years)
